Favorite Christmas Films?

A Christmas Story. I can watch this one over and over and over and over again! I guess I can relate a bit to that childhood. Cracks me up everytime! Absolutely number one on my list!

Nightmare Before Christmas. Great segue-way between the seasons.

Christmas Vacation. The only "Vacation" flick I really like.

It's a Wonderful Life. Classic, but I have to be in the mood for it.

What's that other Chevy Chase flick? Was it "Funny Farm"? The one where he and his wife a going to get divorced and get the crazy townfolks to act all Norman Rockwell so they could sell their house?

The Santa Claus. A great vehicle for the limited Tim Allen. Galaxy Quest will always be my favorite Allen film.

Polar Express may make the list. I thought it was pretty good.

Actually, it's high time someone did a new big screen, big budget production of ACC using the GC Scott version as the benchmark. I'd cast Ian McKellen as Scrooge and use computer FX for a lot of the stuff that still hasn't been done right in any of the films. A Christmas Carol, as written by Dickens, is a really dark creepy story. The Scott version was the only one to get that right.

I originally suggested Die Hard, but I assume everyone knows about the hypocritical school policy concerning these types of films.
